While this insert was designed for Emeril's Stainless set, it fits the Anodized Non-stick 6 qt pot perfectly. The lit also fits. (The 3-qt steamer insert did not fit my set so well.) The weight of the piece is heavy so I'm sure it will last a long time. The Stainless is shiny and attractive. Very happy with this add-on to my set!

This item works as well as I expected it to.
Two notes for those thinking about buying this:
This insert is for the TALL 8 quart Emerilware stock pot, not for the short one that comes in the 14 piece set. (I had to go out and buy the tall pot so I could use this)
This insert will add about 3 inches to the top of your tall stock pot, so make sure you have clearance - I can only _just_ fit it on my stove, with lid on, because I've got an over-stove microwave oven and vent combo.
