Don't be fooled. The cheap price should be a give away as to the quality of this. Very thin walls. Handle is long to prevent it from getting hot, but with the narrow base, the pan does not balance well on the burner and tends to tip over. All Clad, standard 1 qt. or 2 qt. sauce pan, with aluminum clad between SS will cost a bit more, but is really worth the extra investment.
