I'm very pleased with the Emerilware Hard Anodized 14-Piece Cookware Set. Food cooks evenly and quickly. Use as recommended on low to medium heat, the food won't stick. It cleans up very easily. I would highly recommend it. One caveat, the metal handles get hot, so handle carefully with a pot holder.

This cookware is a joy to work with. It distributes the heat evenly across the entire borrom surface allowing for preparing food without hot spots cooking differently than other areas.
If there is one thing I can fault it would be that this cookware is not dishwasher safe, and it recommended that they be cleaned in your sink.
I suppose this is because the non-stick coating could be damamged by any chlorine in dishwaser detergents.
This is not a big problem, as cleanup is a snap without using the dishwaher.
I highly recommend this cookware.

These pans are so great. I have used plenty of other people's pans and these beat them all. They're not really heavy, they feel good to use fit your hands and all for moving, pouring, picking up, etc. The lids are all great and fit different pans through-out the set. The pans are fantastic and clean so easily, you can just use a scrub brush and barely touch them and they'll wash right up every single time. They're the best pans I've ever seen. Wouldn't even take one of those 5,000.00 free sets over my Emerils because they're better. Wish there were two sauce pans in the set, seem to always need another one and don't ever have it. :) Make sure you use oven mits when you pick up the pans the handles get really hot and I've cooked about 75% of everything on high and never burnt my pans or torn them up or anything. I've had 'em since 2005. :) And they're waaaaaaaay sturdier and better than any of the cheap sets far as I'm concerned the best set out there.

It's truly non-stick if you use it the right way. There's usually no need to bring the stove setting higher than medium high. This sort of cookware takes a bit longer to heat up but once its at proper temperature it cooks really well - evenly, thoroughly with really great results. After you use this cookware a few times, you realize that well made cookware really does matter. One internet commentator recommended testing for the right temperature with a few drops of water - sizzle means just right, and splatter means too hot. They're not as durable as cheap cookware, meaning you can't abuse them and expect them to last. They're sort of like fine instruments that you have to take care not to overheat - which damages them - or to mar the surface with harsh abrasives or cleansers - which apparently can ruin the cookware.
