"Love them but dent easily" 2010-02-11
By Novice Chef (New York)
Product cooks evenly and cleans well. The screws on the inside of the pan where the handle connects can be a bit more challenging to clean, but still not difficult. Cooks well at medium heat.

One issue I have was that I was putting one of the small pots away and accidentally dropped it on the wood floor in my kitchen and it dented the side of the pan so now I can't use the lid. I only dropped it about 12 inches and it dented which is quite annoying.

Would love to have a bigger saute pan maybe 12". The biggest pan does not accomodate dishes any larger than 2-4 servings.

Would recommend these pans, just don't drop them! Good Luck!

 "Terrible Cookware" 2010-02-11
By Washington Customer (USA)
I bought EarthPan cookware due to the review that Consumer Reports gave it. Like other unsatisfied customers, cooking was great in the beginning. Cleaning was a cinch as well. After three months, food started to stick. Then I noticed this light brown sticky residue on the pan which I believe is a mix of oil and food. Cleaning this residue off the pans took a good 10-15 minutes of heavy scrubbing with lots of soap, rinsing, repeat. This was a terrible waste of money as the window of return to Amazon had already expired. Also there is nothing online that I can find that will allow me to return the product to the original manufacturer. I thought it was Farberware but when I went to the website, they didn't have EarthPan as part of their product line. STAY AWAY FROM THIS AWFUL PRODUCT!! I will take Consumer Reports reviews with a grain of salt from now on.

 "Wonderful Pans" 2010-02-06

These pans are very, very nice. They are do not stick and are very easy to wash even though they are not supposed to be put in the dishwasher. I have only had them for 2 month, but I am very satisfied.

 "Not worth it..." 2010-02-05
By Christy P
My husband is very cautious to read reviews before making 'major' purchases. He was very impressed with the reviews and the eco-friendly aspect of these pans therefore he bought the set for me for Christmas (on my request for new pans). I absolutely loved these at first. I made sure everyone in the hhouse knew how they were to be used and cared for so we could keep them like new as long as possible. About 6 months into owning them, one pan got ruined - i think my teen-aged son sprayed cooking spray in it. There was absolutely nothing i could do to get it clean and have things not stick. Now its about 1 year later and the pan i use the most is sticking horribly. I am very dissappointed in these pans and hope that anyone who buys them doesnt get their expectations up too high. We are going with cast iron...tried and true - easier to maintain, clean and more durable.

"Great cookware at a great price" 2010-02-05
By School Psych (Lawrence,KS)
I love cooking with my Earth Pans. They are hard anodized so they can't be put in the dishwasher, but they are a dream to handwash. Just a swish with a sponge and they come clean. Before I got them I had never thought about the advantage of having glass lids. I haven't boiled over the spagetti since, because I can see what is going on in the pan. I wish I had this cookware a long time ago, and buying it though Amazon.com gave me a really good price.Earth Pan 10-Piece Hard Anodized Cookware Set
